This project comprises constructing a flyover and an underpass known as Kurdistan Intersection in Zakho City.
It is located at the entrance of the city, therefore it’s critical as it plays a key role
in the reduction of traffic and facilitates commercial transportation movement as
the project is part of the international route that links Iraq to Europe via Turkey.
More than 53,500 m2 of asphalt alongside 188 pre-tensioned precast girders were
used in the construction.
