This project comprises two roads, one is a 1.2 km long and 15-meter wide road that leads to Amedi district, a town east of Dohuk, the other one is a 1.9 km long twoway road with a width of 20 meters, including a 300 m tunnel in an area known as Maribka.
A total of 150,000 m2 of asphalt and 15,000 m2 of retaining walls were used in the construction, alongside installing a lighting system.
Amedi town is located in an area surrounded by mountains, the Tunnel plays a key
role in facilitating transportation and movement in the area.
