Located in Duhok province, it is one of a kind in Iraq and the Kurdistan region. It has
a daily production capacity of up to 500 tons of flour and a storage capacity of 60
thousand tons of grains divided amongst its 12 silos. The factory is equipped with
sophisticated machines to moisture grains, several storages with a sum capacity
of two thousand tons for washing grains, and silos for brans of 500 tons capacity.
It is also equipped with silos to store the produced flour of a capacity of 1500 tons.
This project has a critical role in expanding the market for local farmers since it
receives grains from them. It is also involved in the creation of about 1000 jobs.
